Understanding BCBS Addiction Treatment Coverage: Admissions and Insurance

Cost and insurance coverage are usually two of the first things people consider when seeking addiction treatment. Our staff will verify your insurance coverage before you enter any level of care at Centric Behavioral Health to ensure that there are no surprises. After that, you will get a free consultation that’ll give us the information necessary to help you pick from one of our treatment programs or levels of care. We are here to ensure you’re taken care of from the beginning of your program to the end.

Levels of Care Covered by BCBS

BCBS may be able to help you cover the cost of any program or level of care available at Centric Behavioral Health. We have a full continuum of care, which means that every standard level of care used for addiction treatment is offered under the Centric Behavioral Health umbrella. This does not mean you must attend every level of care available at our treatment facilities. Instead, different levels of care may be more suitable for you at this time than others, depending on factors like where you’re at in recovery. With that said, here are the levels of care available to BCBS recipients at Centric Behavioral Health.

programs

Getting off of drugs and alcohol can be uncomfortable and, in some cases, dangerous. or "detox" programs help clients get off of drugs and alcohol in a comfortable environment with medical staff present and ready to support them when needed. Many clients opt to enter this level of care prior to their addiction treatment program (e.g., before inpatient care).

Inpatient programs

Inpatient rehabilitation programs are the most intensive form of addiction treatment there is. When you're in inpatient treatment, you sleep, live, and eat at your treatment facility for the duration of the program. This enables you to temporarily step away from your daily life and build new coping skills in a fresh environment. The inpatient programs at Centric Behavioral Health's facilities in Florida include groups, individual therapy, recreation activities, and other treatments.

Partial hospitalization programs

Partial hospitalization programs (PHP) are one step below inpatient care in terms of intensity. PHP allows clients to live off-campus, whether that means staying in our supportive housing facilities or elsewhere for the duration of the program. PHP clients at Centric Behavioral Health spend 6-8 hours daily at their designated treatment facility five days a week. Treatment activities are similar to those found in inpatient programs and include but aren't limited to group therapy and individual therapy.

Intensive outpatient programs

Our intensive outpatient programs (IOP) are the next step down from PHP. While they are less intensive than PHP, our intensive outpatient programs still involve a powerful combination of group and individual therapy. IOP at our BCBS drug addiction treatment center in Florida involves 12-15 hours of groups and one individual therapy session per week.

Outpatient programs

In addition to PHP and IOP, Centric Behavioral Health offers some other outpatient opportunities. These include but aren't necessarily limited to recovery groups, such as 12-step or alumni groups, continued therapy, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT).

Aftercare planning

Aftercare planning is a critical part of relapse prevention. As you get ready to leave any program at our BCBS addiction treatment center in Florida, we will help you build a personalized aftercare plan. Your aftercare plan might include a number of features, including but not limited to plans to continue therapy or attend support groups.

Reasons to Choose Centric Behavioral Health

While you may come across more than one BCBC addiction treatment center, there are so many reasons to choose Centric Behavioral Health for your substance abuse treatment needs. In addition to our expert staff members and a full continuum of care, here are some of the features that set us apart from the rest.

Client-centered care

We take a sincere client-centered approach to care that focuses on the individual needs of each and every client seen at Centric Behavioral Health. Centric Behavioral Health is superior because we allow you to work with your treatment team continuously to build a personalized treatment plan and adjust it as you make progress.

Specialized programs

Sometimes, people have experiences that inform the way addiction affects their lives or what their recovery process will look like. Centric Behavioral Health provides specialized programs for clients who have life experiences that might affect their addiction or recovery. These include but aren't limited to specialized programs for first responders, young adults, college students, veterans, and working professionals.

Dual diagnosis treatment

Did you know that over 37% of people with a substance use disorder have at least one other mental illness? The term "dual diagnosis" is used when a substance use disorder occurs alongside one or more additional mental health conditions. Dual diagnosis treatment addresses both substance abuse and other relevant mental health concerns. We provide dual diagnosis treatment opportunities for individuals in any level of care at Centric Behavioral Health. This can be a game-changer because it means clients have the opportunity to address their mental health in a comprehensive way.

Evidence-based approaches

Evidence-based treatments refer to treatment modalities that have been proven effective by research and are trusted by the medical community. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), family therapy, medication management, and community support are just some examples of the evidence-based approaches you'll find at Centric. We also offer art therapy, music therapy, and other evidence-based modalities for those who benefit from them.

Supportive housing

Supportive housing is also called “sober living.” Our supportive housing facilities provide those in recovery with a drug and alcohol-free living environment, whether they're in one of our addiction treatment programs or not. Supportive housing can play an invaluable role in the recovery process because it gives you the gift of privacy, freedom, and a sober community.
