What We Treat
Behavioral Healthcare Treatment
Behavioral Healthcare
Substance use disorder and other mental health concerns are prevalent across the United States. A shared experience of these two concerns is that they can significantly impact a person’s life. This includes their day-to-day life and managing other responsibilities. Additionally, both concerns can contribute to individuals pulling away from their loved ones and friends, which can expose them to isolation.
Addiction and mental health concerns are becoming important topics within our culture as we see the negative impact that they can have on individuals and within our community. Access to quality and affordable mental health care is a barrier many individuals encounter when looking for mental health treatment.
Centric Behavioral Health Group offers inpatient and outpatient programs that are designed to help individuals living with substance use disorders and other common mental health disorders.

Dual-Diagnosis Treatment
An estimated 7.7 million individuals are living with a dual diagnosis in the United States, according to the National Institute on Drug Abuse. There are unique differences among every individual who is living with a dual diagnosis. As an example, 37.9% of individuals living with a substance use disorder are also living with a mental illness. Whereas 18.2% of individuals living with a mental illness are also living with a substance use disorder. Some individuals know which developed first, while others do not.
What we know is that individuals living with a dual diagnosis have a better chance of staying sober if they receive treatment for both concerns simultaneously. Substance abuse treatment programs can offer specialized treatment options that provide the needed support and treatment for mental health concerns that appear as dual diagnoses. The National Institute on Drug Abuse reported that only an estimated 9.1% of individuals living with a dual diagnosis receive the proper form of treatment. Research has shown that more than half of the individuals living with a dual diagnosis do not receive treatment for either their mental health or addiction.
Our Centric Behavioral Health Group facilities offer dual diagnosis treatment within all of our addiction treatment programs. This means that you can receive the necessary support and treatment at various stages of your recovery. Additionally, you will be eligible for medication-assisted treatment, which can support both your recovery and your mental health.

Mental Health Treatment
An estimated 52.9 million adults in the U.S. are living with a mental health illness. This means that approximately 1 in every 5 adults is living with some form of mental health concern. Various differences can be seen among these individuals, including the type of mental health concern, the severity of their illness, and their history.
Individuals living with any mental illness can struggle with their mental, behavioral, and emotional health. Their mental illness does not have the same impact as those living with a serious mental illness. These individuals can experience mild or moderate impairment in areas of their life.
Individuals who are living with a serious mental illness experience serious impairment that can impact all areas of their life. This includes their mental health, behavioral health, and emotional health. Individuals in a crisis may benefit from an inpatient treatment program that works to stabilize their mental health to a point where there is no longer a strong concern for their safety.
Effective treatment options for individuals living with a mental illness will depend on the severity of their symptoms. Individuals living with a serious mental illness may require inpatient treatment consisting of group therapy, individual therapy, and educational sessions. Individuals living with any mental illness can utilize a variety of outpatient treatment services, including group therapy, support groups, specialized treatment groups, and individual therapy.
Medication-assisted treatment is an option that individuals living with any mental illness have. Medications can be used to treat and manage symptoms associated with a range of mental health concerns. Medications can be used short-term or long-term, which your prescribing physician can determine.
Find Your Light. Discover Your Path.
Our caring treatment specialists are standing by 24 hours a day, 7 days a week ready to help you find the best possible treatment for you or your loved one.
What to Look for in a Behavioral Healthcare Treatment Center
When you begin looking for a behavioral health treatment center, the first step is to ensure that they have treatment programs that are appropriate for your needs. If you are unsure, you can call an admissions representative and ask questions about the treatment available at their treatment center.
Common barriers that individuals experience regarding mental health treatment are having a provider near them and one that takes their insurance. You can verify your insurance coverage by calling the number on the back of your insurance ID card and speaking with a representative. Your representative will be able to talk you through your plan coverage to help you get an understanding of what you can expect your financial responsibility to be.
Some treatment providers offer inpatient and outpatient treatment programs which can make transferring levels of care feel seamless to you. You would be able to stay within the same facility, possibly in the same location. Having a continuum of care gives you the opportunity to continue engaging in addiction treatment throughout the various stages of your recovery.
Next, you will want to explore the unique treatment opportunities that are available to you. Treatment providers can offer unique alternative therapies and activities that they feel add to their treatment program. This can include nutrition and fitness education, sporting equipment, yoga classes, meditation classes, art therapy, and music therapy. The goal of these options is to help you find new activities and hobbies that you can continue engaging in your day-to-day life.
If you have been struggling with a behavioral health concern, please know that at Centric Behavioral Health Group, we recognize the strength it takes to ask for help.
